Emily Farison is a ceramic and mixed media artist living and working in Cincinnati, OH. She received her BFA from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program with a focus in ceramics in 2014. Since then, she has continued to explore creative reuse in addition to her ceramic work. Farison incorporates reuse materials into her sculptural work, continually exploring ways of blending her passion for ceramics with the importance of reusing materials around us.

Emily enjoys spending time outside with her husband Dan and 1-year old son Rowan, and gains a lot of inspiration from their backpacking and hiking excursions.

Inspirations: Circles, coral, bacteria, fungus— anything that grows in patterns of multiples, and are a little gross.
